Our Cottage
Beautifully simple, and intentionally comfortable.
Inside, you’ll find a space that leans into comfort, warm light, and just enough simplicity to help you unwind.

The rhythm of a slower stay
Mornings come quietly here—light through the windows, a cup of coffee in hand, maybe a kid still half-asleep on the couch or the sound of the farm waking up in the distance.
Evenings settle in softly. Golden light, cooler air, and that deep kind of quiet you only really notice once you’ve stepped away from everything else.
A little glimpse into farm life
This is a working homestead, which means life is happening all around you—kids, animals, projects, and the everyday rhythm of it all.
And then there’s Salem.
He’s our resident cat and unofficial cottage supervisor. He comes and goes as he pleases, may stop by to say hello, and has a habit of making himself feel right at home.
If you’re not a cat person no worries! He is a completely optional vacation rental perk and is perfictly happy on his own out doors.
A different kind of stay
My Heart Farm Cottage is set on our off-grid private rural 12 acre homestead in a quiet mountain setting, about 20 minutes from the town of Mariposa. You will see wildlife such as deer and maybe a escaped farm animal or two!
